Dedicated to our wonderful Alan Triggs

Alan, a wonderful husband, amazing dad and friend to so many will be remembered for being the most smart, caring, kind and gentle man who cared for everybody else, the man with the golden heart.

Our lives will never be the same, we have a hole in our hearts but would very much like all of his loved ones to use this space to share photos, videos, stories and annecdoates of Alan that are precious to you.  

We are devastated by the loss a man that was so precious and so loved by so many. Knowing Alan and as a family we have chosen two charities that our close to our hearts and would be grateful to recieve any donations to either charity in honour of an amazing husband and dad.

St Lukes Hospice

St Lukes Hospice are a local charity based in Basildon who cared for Alan at the end of his life with compassion and dignity. They were our guradian angels and wrapped Alan and the whole fanily in more care, kindness and warmth than we could ever imagine.

The Brain Tumour Charity

The Brain Tumour Charity is the world’s leading brain tumour charity and the largest dedicated funder of research into brain tumours globally.

They are set on finding new treatments, offering the highest level of support and driving urgent change. This charity say “that when you, or someone you love, is diagnosed with a brain tumour – a cure really can’t wait.”

The Brain Tumour charity supported Nicky Leigh and Rachel with a lifelines in providing counselling sessions during Alan’s Diagnosis.

Alan adored being a nurse and would want any donations to go towards vital medical research knowing that only 3% of all the money received by cancer research in the UK is spent on brain tumours. 

Alan would be proud that any donations recieved to either charity supports not only other people with terminal illness’s but also supports their families.

It is a personal choice if you would like to donate which charity you would like to donate to.
